Problem is, I only have a couple weeks to take off work. I hate going home for a short period, I thought it's seriously a waste of money and time. Home is Jakarta, Indonesia and it's half a globe away from where I live now in San Francisco. However, I did have the urge to finally do it, as I've missed my family so much. Plus, my buddy Bong from NYC has been planning this trip for a while too, and she's decided that we should meet up in Japan and spend some sightseeing days there before we continue down to Indonesia. What a terrific idea.
The thought of going to Japan for the first time excites me, and this is how the blog started. I want to share what I experienced, what I felt and what I tasted in the Land of the Rising Sun.
